WHAT IS IT?
The Young Disciple Mission Experience is a teen mission trip, a
training school, and an opportunity to acquire the tools and
confidence needed to share your faith. In a safe and encouraging
setting, Mission Experience youth become preachers, teachers, and
evangelists, while capable staff serve as mentors.
WHERE IS IT?
The 2013 Mission Experience is scheduled to take place on
the island of Palawan in the Philippines. The Philippines is
the 12th most populous country, and its people are among the
happiest on earth. Though surrounded by hardship, Filipino's seem
to always have a friendly word and a warm smile, even for
strangers. The island of Palawan is called the "Last Frontier" of
the Philippines becasue of its pristine natural beauty, white sand
beaches, and exotic wildlife. English is an official
language and is widely spoken throughout the
country.
